Octopus Player does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or user tracking systems.

We do not collect your name, address, phone number, precise location, device contacts, photos, microphone data, or camera data through the app. Temporary iOS service request information is described in section 3a below.

When users manually add an M3U or Xtream Codes playlist inside the app, this information is stored locally on the user's device.

These playlist details are not backed up to our servers by the app.

If the user chooses to use the Quick Setup feature on our website, playlist information may be temporarily processed on our server only for the purpose of transferring the playlist to the user's device through a short activation code.

This temporary data is kept for a maximum of 10 minutes and is deleted after the code is used or expires.

When using Quick Setup on iOS, the app sends a temporary activation code to retrieve the source account you selected.

For Quick Setup and service configuration requests, Octopus services temporarily retain the code, where used, and related security and technical request information, including the IP address, request endpoint, timestamp, status and duration. These records are encrypted, retained for no more than 10 minutes, and used only to provide Quick Setup, prevent abuse and keep the service working. They are not used for advertising or tracking.

Encryption does not make these records anonymous. Manually entered provider credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain and sent directly to your selected provider; they are not copied to Octopus servers. The iOS app does not send the Android app's automatic diagnostic reports.

Octopus Player may use The Movie Database (TMDB) API to enrich movie and series screens with metadata or images. No personal user data is sent to TMDB by Octopus Player for this purpose.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Users are responsible for ensuring that the playlists and content they add to Octopus Player are legal and that they have the necessary rights to access such content.

Octopus Player does not support or encourage copyright infringement.

Octopus Player is not designed specifically for children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
